Just been informed that the Bescot crane on the way to the incident on the West Highland line.
The Bescot breakdown train is on its way to the scene tonight (Sun). Three pics here, they are NOT mine:

what happened previously then if a derailment or incident occured in a non network rail yard. Did NR cover the cost of the rerailing using its equipment?

Some more pictures of the crane. I added the Cowans Sheldon lettering last night and though slightly too large I think it gives the right impresssion. I'm waiting for the chassis to come back from a friend who is machining new axle bearing holders for me. Hope you like the work so far.

Here is a Hornby crane I'm seriously modifying for a diorama competition I'm entering. Plenty more work to come.
