Apparently 96715 has been parked up at Whitemoor Yard, reportedly due to lack of suitable crew.

Reported on WNXX website that 68016 has worked 4K97 from Crewe - Ely with ADRC96715 and support coaches. Don't know if they'll be used as apparently access is very restricted.

6V38 hauled by 66134 came to grief on the points at Llanwern West Junction yesterday 16/1/17. Third wagon in the consist derailed causing damage to the junction pointwork. Hi all, class 60 off the road all wheels at Santon near Scunthorpe, caught out at catch points. Happened early yesterday, line closed and not sure how it's being rerailed!!

As a plater welder I would say needle gunning is imperative, aggression definitely required. If there is corrosion there it needs to be removed before any ultrasonics are performed.
