96713 and a Balfour Beatty Kirow 1200 are at site. Not able to read the running number of the Kirow. The CS has been use. Has the Kirow actually done any work? The hire in ( assumedly by Networkrail ) of this Kirow crane is a novelty as the only other uses of a Kirow for recovery work were in pre-ex...

Photo of crane appears in Feb-Mar 2017 Locomotives International.

Taken at Kantara by Ronald Garraway in late 1919 – early 1920.

CS 3855 or 3856; later style lattice jibbed 25 tonner; both went to PR, later IR; one such is preserved at Haifa.
