Thanks for your comments. The photos are a bit unclear but the whole area was needle-gunned before they were taken. I won't be cutting corners but do need to get the crane operational very soon. Steam Test tomorrow (annual Exam).
Some progress. Runner wagon back with crane. Jib cradle to refit. Tacklebox has been rebuilt and is ready for fitting.

They are manually moved in and out by gears operated by a ratchet. One for each Beam.

The Hoist Rope is fairly straightforward, ideally feed it straight off the delivery drum. The Derrick rope takes a while to get right. It has to be laid out with both ends together, the centre found and then this has to be fixed onto the derricking drum. It has to fit into a very tight radius bracke...

Slow progress due to weather and work. Jib runner wagon is being stripped down, descaled and painted. The Tackle box is being removed for major repairs. The bottom plate of the well and its angle irons will need replacing.
