Work is progressing on 1561S.
All the boiler fittings and associated pipework are being overhauled or replaced.
The Coal Bunker has been removed for repairs to the bottom plate and side wall. The Frame exposed is being de-scaled and painted.

Where can I source Drawings for 1561S? It came with some but not many. Has anybody got a pattern or castings for the Axlebox Oil Boxes as fitted to 1561S? They are GWR axleboxes and should have Oilboxes that bolt on the top, 2 bolts full width of axlebox. The originals were missing when it arrived a...
