47500 the rear loco of a top & tail empty stock move reported derailed all wheels with subsequent small fire, no reported injuries to traincrew.

Laira had ADRR 95213 (adw19) of 1940 vintage but also ADRR 95216 (adw151/ds1580) 1945 vintage on its books over the years - ADRR 95216 later being sold to the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Rlwy during November 1983 but now on the Mid Hants Rlwy.

Plenty of lifts, but these mainly overnight with the fast lines under possession, under the cover of darkness (floodlit) and no passing traffic, affected wagons being made lighter and ready for lift the hard way with contents removed with several hours of shovelling and opening bottom discharge door...

All rail based recovery equipment now stood down from Barrow on Soar job and returned initially to Toton for onward movement to respective depots, so ADRC96710, 13 & 15 plus one set of vans at TO currently. = The report of 96714 at Worksop is a stabled 'static' sighting and not a crane deployed ...
