BDCA member Peter Woad, one of the regular drivers of MP3 in the late 1960s and 1970s, has written with the following information... The driver is Arthur Butler, we were shift mates for many years.  He lived down the road from me so I used to pick him up going to work.  He was the one that trained ...

The very sad news has reached us that BDCA member Neil Cameron passed away earlier this month. Neil was prominent in the acquisition by Bluebell Railway of 1943 R&R 45-ton crane RS1083/45 (ADRR95215) and its transport from Newton Heath in c.1985.  The crane was brought into serviceable order at ...

My first thought was to offer to convert your scans from PDF to JPG for uploading. However I then realised that the content of the...

Thanks for that, Roger.  Your response adds nicely to the information provided by Chris Capewell directly to Will following an email I sent to Chris on the matter. Yes, I made the all-too-common mistake of using emails to discuss matters raised on the forum. I'll stand in the Naughty Corner f...

Thanks for putting me on the right track, Pete!

I'll ask my son to call up the Facebook site for me - it's always good to see a Craven.
