What impact will the 5" have on the completion date of the 'O' gauge version?

At this rate, you'll be building in 12"/ft next!

I presume that you subcontract the laser-cutting?

Paul,

Not being a breakdown crane this is a little outside my particular area of expertese, but having studied the photos very carefully I am inclined to agree that the crane you photographed at Newport and the crane at the GWSR are one and the same.

I think that perhaps the biggest problem facing owners is that a breakdown crane does not generate significant revenue for the host railway, and as such there is little interest from the host railway in sinking hard-earned cash into them, especially when other projects with a greater return-on-inves...
