Hello Alex
I have been in contact with David Withers who has been very helpful with information on the MP3, and suggested you as a contact as you are building a MP3 in 5" gauge as I am.
I understand from him that there are lots of photos on the web which are helpful.(I will follow up)
I have been building locomotives for many years and have been looking for a model but something different ! I have started to draw the small truck in Cad so just at the beginning of the process.l have several questions such as boiler and gear wheels, springs, since I have and not seen a full size engine is difficult to imagine how it goes together, maybe a little premature for these.
It has always my practice to complete the drawings then build, update after, this may require a different approach I would welcome your thoughts.
I have access locally to all the modern methods for engineering, but I do know Malcome High and have used him for loco parts in the past, good chap and helpful.
Any thoughts or general guidance you may will be greatly appreciated.
Hope you have a good Xmas and new year.
Regards
Bob
