Hi folks ! I am an ex employee of Cowans Sheldon ! I Joined the company in the long hot summer of 1976, when the 75 tonne Diesel Hydraulic breakdown cranes were being built (makers no 31145 was a prototype). I was in the works planning dept and directly involved in the first build. This was followed by general purpose 12 t cranes and twin jib track layers. This was an interesting company to work for at that time, and I look forward to comparing notes with those who had to operate the machines ! John |
