Hi everyone,

Been browsing for a couple of years now, thought I was a member until I tried to log in - doh!

Been on 'the railway' since 1986, an Electrical Fitter at Toton TMD. Joined the breakdown team in 1995, been to various derailments, some small, some big (Rickerscote, Hatfield, Selby, etc). Really really enjoyed my time on breakdown, unfortunately all changed due to the new set up :-(

Totonbbb - my nickname at Toton - Big Bad Bear!

Thanks for reading - Andi.

Hi Andi, welcome!

I seem to remember that there was someone with the same (or similar) name from Toton who used to post excellent breakdown photos online. Was that you, by any chance, and if so do you still do so?

I am sure I had the appropriate bookmark, but I may have lost it in an upgrade.

Best wishes,

Roger.

Hi Roger,

Thanks for the wishes, and yes it was me that used to post breakdown photos, but I was told by a breakdown supervisor (who had friends in the RAIB) that they weren't happy with my postings and action would be taken if I didn't stop posting - so I did have to stop unfortunately.

Andi.

Hi Andi,

What a shame! I wondered if perhaps it was something like that. I don't suppose they'd let you post in the members' area of this forum on the basis that they were for educational purposes!

It's certainly good to have you aboard!

Best wishes,
Roger.

Andi - It so happens that we received a string of 'mischief' registrations at around the time you believe you registered to the forum, and when deleting them I may have accidentally included yours. If that was the case I offer my sincerest apologies.

I reiterate Roger's welcome to the forum (whether for the first or second time!) and I know that he and our other members would welcome you also as a full member of the BDCA if you would care to join us. I will send you membership details by email.

David.
