Back in about 1994 during the remodelling work at Skipton the then brand new wagons used on the TILCON service from Rylstone Quarry derailed and overturned onto the parallel road in Engine Shed Lane Ind Est. Before these wagons could be recovered they had to be emptied by a specialist road based vacuum unit, the emptying process was slow taking approx 1 day per wagon. Access wasn't a problem.

1Z99 departed Toton at around 1900 today apparently conveying ADRC 96713 for Barrow on Soar. Also I understand that a crane of some description is expected at St Leonards tomorrow (Sun) to lift the derailed 375 unit.

Otpnet reports indicate all four Network Rail telescopic cranes have been on the move in recent days.
Three at Loughborough, and one at Worksop. ( What was the incident near the latter? )

This is interesting as it would appear to confirm all four are fully operational assets.

The support coaches involved; and the number of full crews mobilised would be of interest.

The Barrow on Soar incident site appears difficult to access, and photograph!; and given the suggestion is that work will be done at night with the fast lines closed pictures could be few.

All rail based recovery equipment now stood down from Barrow on Soar job and returned initially to Toton for onward movement to respective depots, so ADRC96710, 13 & 15 plus one set of vans at TO currently.
=
The report of 96714 at Worksop is a stabled 'static' sighting and not a crane deployed to an incident.

Did any lifts take place or were the wagons rerailed by other means?
Or are they still there?

Plenty of lifts, but these mainly overnight with the fast lines under possession, under the cover of darkness (floodlit) and no passing traffic, affected wagons being made lighter and ready for lift the hard way with contents removed with several hours of shovelling and opening bottom discharge doors, with a road rail machine assisting 'product removal'.
