47500 the rear loco of a top & tail empty stock move reported derailed all wheels with subsequent small fire, no reported injuries to traincrew.

Pleased that a photo of this incident actually using cranes has emerged ( unlike, to the best of my knowledge, that at Barrow on Soar )

But does the Manchester Museum actually want a burnt out 47, or are they going to use it for an episode of Coronation Street?

Could this be the last rail movement from the mainline to the museum before the connection gets severed by the new chord line?
