There is a two-page article in the January edition of Railway Bylines featuring three good photos of the BR(W) Salop area crane, No 11 from Shrewsbury (the former LMS RS1076/30). The crane is pictured unloading the VoR locomotive "Prince of Wales" at Aberystwyth upon return from overhaul at Swindon Works. |
