Two recovery cranes tasked to attend a 'special' wagon derailed at Salthouse Junction near Barrow in Furness, 8 axle heavyweight bogie wagon affected.

Nothing yet on otpnet to say which cranes have attended.

Reading the local press coverage shows again that reporters cannot tell the difference between a locomotive and a wagon. ( nor a locomotive from a unit). ( .and then there is my pet hate ............ tr**n station. )

By this account they got the crane there and then used the jacks successfully.
