Ad in latest issue (12-2-20) of Heritage Railway for the Breakdown Crane on the Swanage Railway. Looks like a clearout of redundant stock as listed with a couple of other vehicles. |

I'd heard this was for sale. It's a shame considering the amount of work that has gone into it and that it has only recently been restored to working order. They've done a very good job on it too. Whatever happens, I hope that its future is secure. After its twin was scrapped in 2010 it would be a shame to lose the last-but-one SR 45-tonner. |
