Hi Everyone As previously reported, 75T breakdown crane ADRC 96714 arrived at the Gwili Railway on the 16th December. After recommissioning, fixing a few niggles and a rope change, the crane passed it's LOLER examination last Thursday and over the weekend was pressed into service for the first time in preservation, moving containers and then moving pointwork as part of the remodelling of Abergwili. All went well and the crane performed perfectly - a fantastic piece of kit and a great asset for the Gwili Railway. Dave |
