I have recently been watching the above video, which concentrates on WCRC's open days at Carnforth in 2008, but also includes quite a lot of the history of the depot from the '60's onwards.

Included in the BR-era footage are plenty of sequences showing the last BDC allocated there by BR, Cowans Sheldon 30-ton crane RS1087/30 (later sold to the SVR) in the background, and in the sequences from the '70's during the "Steamtown" era there are some which have the ex-GWR No 18 lurking in the background.

There is however a short sequence showing (close up) No 18 in steam and working, lifting the boiler of "Flying Scotsman" out of the frames for overhaul, sometime in the 1970's.
