On the episode shown tonight Mon 13th Jan Between Euston and Cheddington.
There was a segment featuring the Harrow smash.
Some crane working was visible. May be stock footage and some I have seen before but maybe not all.

I saw that, but didn't recognise any of the footage as previously unseen.

I thought that the subject (of the H&W triple collision) was covered reasonably well, especially bearing in mind the target audience.

It is also a very long time since I last heard the epitaph to the unfortunate Thomas Port:-

"Bright rose the morn and vig'rous' rose poor Port.
Gay on the Train he used his wonted sport:
Ere noon arrived his mangled form they bore,
With pain distorted and o'erwhelmed with gore:
When evening came to close the fatal day,
A mutilated corpse the sufferer lay."

Although I rather doubt that the second line would be written using the "G" word nowadays!
