Just found this item. A series of 5 aerial photos showing the derailment at Wath Rd in 1948. Other shots can be seen in the side page links. On Britain from above you need to register to be able to zoom in. At least 1 Crane in attendance. Good find Bryan. Just registered to Britain from above and found some shots of the Harrow and Wealdstone crash, zoomed in to see two cranes working in the carnage http://www.britainfromabove.org.uk/image/eaw047084? http://www.britainfromabove.org.uk/image/eaw047083 MP9 (ADRV95206) was one of the cranes, I do not know the other one. |
