There was a brief shot of an Israeli Railway Museum and a very brief shot of a Cowans Sheldon Crane.

Any details known?

There are in fact two cranes in the Haifa museum which appear in the programme, and there are two very clear photos of the two cranes at the following URLs:-

the red crane

The cranes are as follows; the information below was provided to me by Chris Capewell in an email during 2007 (and presented here in Chris's usual format):-

The green crane....

ex Egyptian State Rly. captured by Israel and IR no. C-30-1.
Stored at Qishon for eventual museum preservation 4/99
At ISRAEL RAILWAYS MUSEUM, HAIFA EAST station 3/2001

The red crane, with its locally sourced/made? boiler...

The runner wagon is Cowans Sheldon number 31/1918.
