Anyone recognise the driver of DS 1580 in the second photo? OK, I'll give you a clue:

He owns a Ransomes & Rapier 36-ton crane that co-incidentally is 36 years older than the one he is driving in the photo. Further, his was the very first of the heavy, long-jib, breakdown cranes, whereas DS 1580 was the very last to built by R&R for UK railways.

The prize? How about a day at ESR assisting Roger (oops!) on his crane restoration work?

The fourth photo is also relevant to GWR No 2 since it shows the ill-fated DS1560 (ADRC95209), the boiler from which is currently being overhauled to go into No 2.

Are the Chesterfield photos the only ones that show Two cranes that have both been preserved?
Or even more rare Two now on the same line.
In this case the NYMR.
Sadly the Ransomes seems to be getting ignored as it is still waiting for overhaul.
