Under "The Major Makers", the story of the Appleby Brothers concern has been updated with new information and an image of a catalogue page received from C J Appleby descendent John Steeds. Under "The Major Makers", Graham Ellis, a descendent of the Craven family, provides more of the story of the Craven Brothers company from the 1920s to the end of the 1930s and follows up with his personal recollections from WW2 through to the 1960s. Under "Data Files", the Extant UK Breakdown Crane listing has been updated to reflect the current situation regarding the ex-LNWR crane RS1020/30 (LMS No. MP21). Under "Data Files", both crane listings have been corrected to show that the Bahamas Locomotive Society's crane ADRV95206 is in Working Order. The "Gallery" has had many new images added to it in recent weeks. Click on "Latest Photos and Movies" to see the latest twenty images. A number of relatively insignificant updates have also been made, not shown above. |
