Recent updates to the website include: # A photo of a Stratford-built GER 20-ton crane added to the article entitled "The First Breakdown Cranes on the British Railway System" within the "Historical Background" section. (With thanks to Colin Rush for bringing this NRM photo to our attention, and to the NRM for allowing its reproduction.) # Several more BDC photos added to the Gallery. # An excellent account by Tony Worman of an exchange visit to Germany that he made, not long after WW2, as a Ransomes & Rapier apprentice. This account will be found in the "Stories and Anecdotes" section of the website. |
