Gallery
Another 41images have been added to the Gallery, with thanks to BDCA members Gordon Allen, Neil Cameron, Chris Capewell, Roy Hennefer, Mick House, Peter & Les Woad, and non-members Martin Hale, Trevor Horner, Andrew Naylor and Tony Page.

These new images will be found within http://www.bdca.org.uk/gallery/index.php in the following sections:
Ransomes & Rapier: ADRR numbers 95201 and 95215,
Cowans Sheldon: ADRC numbers 95218, 96100, 96708, 96709 and 96718. Also in this section are images of GWR No. 4 (20-ton crane of 1903) and GWR No. 9 (36-ton crane of 1914).
Miscellaneous Images: Two more albums have been added to "Some Accident Scenes..." (at Colton and Dent Head). Also new are a chart of Radio Call Signs, and charts showing the Specification & Load/Radius of the 75-tonne tele-jib cranes.

Searching the Gallery
All entries for any particular crane can be found by entering the crane number in the Search box. Note that there should be no spaces in the alpha-numerical CEPS numbers, e.g. "ADRR95215" is correct and searchable, "ADRR 95215" not so. Other search terms can also be used of course, e.g. "Dent Head" for all images in that particular location, or "John Smith" for all images by that photographer.

Miscellaneous Stories and Anecdotes
The account of the "Disaster at Griseburn" has been updated with information and recent photographs from Gordon Allen:

Reference to Peter Tatlow's book "Railway Breakdown Cranes - Volume 1" has been added within the "John S Brownlie - Memorial Note":

Bibliography
Peter's book has also been noted, rather belatedly, within the Bibliography:

Glossary
The Glossary has been amended with the addition of "Pulley" and an improved description of "Sheave":

Finally!
As said before, we are doing very well as a relatively young and rather specialist organisation. However our forum could be more active, especially the Members Only section. Several of us, myself included, tend to converse with other members via email on breakdown and recovery matters which could be more widely aired via the forum. Please try to upload something to the forum now and then, however insignificant it may seem!
