Gallery
44 more images have been added to the Gallery since the last update, with thanks to Alex Betteney, Bryan Blundell, Chris Capewell, David Morgan, Dick Watson and Peter Woad.
The Gallery now contains 585 images!

The new images will be found within http://www.bdca.org.uk/gallery/index.php in the following albums:
Ransomes & Rapier: ADRR95201 (DS81).
Cowans Sheldon: ADRC96702, 96709 and 96714. At the end of the Cowans Sheldon section are images showing the replacement of Newark flat crossing in the late 1980s or early 1990s using two unidentified 75-ton cranes.
Miscellaneous Images: 16-page document of Eastern Region Breakdown Train Arrangements for 1985, and a set of diagrams (outline drawings) for R&R 45-ton, CS 45-ton and CS 76-tonne (conversion) cranes.

Searching the Gallery
All entries for any particular crane can be found by entering the crane number in the Search box. Note that there should be no spaces in the alpha-numerical CEPS numbers, e.g. "ADRR95215" is correct and searchable, "ADRR 95215" not so. Other search terms can also be used of course, e.g. "Dent Head" for all images in that particular location, or "John Smith" for all images by that photographer.

Forum
To repeat what I said following the November 2012 update: We are doing very well as a relatively young and rather specialist organisation. However our forum could be more active, especially the Members Only section. Several of us, myself included, tend to converse with other members via email on breakdown and recovery matters which could be more widely aired via the forum. Please try to upload something to the forum now and then, however insignificant it may seem!
