That's a nuisance, Bryan, I hoped we had found the answer for you.

The "Latest photos..." short-cut has never failed me in my couple of years with W7, and it worked with XP before that, so I suspect the hiccup you've experienced may be local to your own system. Hopefully you'll be happy to utilise Roger's excellent linking system instead?

Bryan,

What web browser are you using?

It works OK for me (Windows 7 with Firefox 34.0.5) so I wonder if it is a browser issue.

Roger

Good point, Roger.

I have no experience with other than Microsoft browsers but have established that it works as it should with IE8 through to IE11 (on XP, Vista and W7 accordingly).

Bryan, it was suggested to me yesterday evening that you probably use Google Chrome since, I was told, incompatibility is not uncommon with that particular browser.

The "Latest photos..." feature is best completely ignored (but unfortunately cannot be deleted). Roger's Links is the future!

Out of interest I have just tried the "latest photos...." antifeature with:-

1) Mozilla Firefox version 34.0.5 - which works perfectly

2) Internet Explorer version 11.0.15 - which works perfectly

3) Google Chrome version 31.0.1650.63 m - which doesn't work at all, and gives the results we rather expected!

These are all running on a desktop PC running Windows 7 Professional (Version 6.1 Build 7601 SP 1).

Many mobile devices now ship with a version of Chrome as the default browser, so I suspect that this is the answer.

At some time I will conduct similar tests with mobile browsers.
