Post subject:  Wartime build Cowans Sheldon Breakdown cranes

A photograph of a Cowans Sheldon 45 ton breakdown crane – pictured with an American Army crew ( or possibly Canadian Army, both manned such cranes, as well as British ROC Companies ) , under training in the UK, sometime in 1944. ( Photo courtesy Tobi Allstadt. )
This is another of the batch of eight noted in the SCoW item.
Any further information would be very welcome.

A photograph of a Cowans Sheldon 45 ton breakdown crane – circa 1946. What does ‘Betty St Patrick’ and P-TT mean?
They sound more like RAF nose-art and squadron aircraft codings!?
A suggestion for Betty is Betty Boop; but a connection with St. Patrick?
( Photo by the late Carl Belingrodt, courtesy Tobi Alstadt. )
Any further information would be welcome.
