Ransomes and Rapier, Ipswich, England, 65 ton capacity breakdown crane of 1924, for the Kowloon Canton Railway.

This crane was moved by the occupying Japanese forces away from KCR metals and considerable diplomatic efforts were required to recover it from the Chinese authorities.

( If any one can add this note as a comment to the flickr photos site - I would be pleased. All that site does is argue with me! )
