I am advised that the upper works ( including boiler, excluding jib ) of one of the two NSB CSs was retained for preservation by a private individual and still exists at a private location. There is a suggestion that it may be operable on compressed air. ( Question - trainspotters apply 'Swindon rules' to copping a locomotive i.e. the frame. However a crane poses a similar problem to that of a Beyer- Garratt - what might count as a cop? ) |

Photographs of the two CS BDCs may be found here - This is the best potrait but amazingly the title nor commentary do not include the word kranvogn so it is sheer luck to find it!!
