Post subject:  Cowans Sheldon BDC in Norway

I am advised that the upper works ( including boiler, excluding jib ) of one of the two NSB CSs was retained for preservation by a private individual and still exists at a private location.
There is a suggestion that it may be operable on compressed air.
( Question - trainspotters apply 'Swindon rules' to copping a locomotive i.e. the frame.
However a crane poses a similar problem to that of a Beyer- Garratt - what might count as a cop? )

This is the best potrait but amazingly the title nor commentary do not include the word kranvogn so it is sheer luck to find it!! Indeed none mention Cowans Sheldon at all!
