NS bought an R&R 45 ton crane from the British military authorities in 1947.
It survived until 1975 as their number 459.
It is here shown at a derailment in 1963, probably near Zwolle where it was based.

The crane on the right is one of two 40 ton capacity machines built by Figee in 1931.
They, numbered 454 and 455, had the unusual wheel arrangement of 8-4W.
