July-August 2016 edition has an article on the American, Belgian and British built breakdown cranes of the SNCF.
"COUP D'OEIL SUR LES GRUES DE SECOURS DE LA SNCF"
Photograph of one of the three Cowans Sheldon as a steam crane and two photos of a dieselised example; diagrams of each and specification details. The date given for the cranes is 1947 the year the SNCF bought them from the British Military and not their actual build date of 1943-44; from the batch of eight; works numbers 8052-8059.

The earlier edition for March-April 2016 carried an article on the batch of Caillard cranes of 1912-13.
This article alluded to earlier Caillard cranes built in 1908-09 ( those with the solid riveted jib ) but did not have any significant details of these somewhat unknown machines. They appear mainly in pre Great War postcards. ( Look on Delcampe for examples )
