Just one update of any consequence: A works photo of the very first Stokes Bogie crane, the 1906 20-tonner for the Great Indian Peninsular Railway, has been added to

A further 35 photos have been added to the Gallery. Thanks for these go to Peter Austin, Ben Brooksbank, Nigel Cox, Richard Green, Greg Martin, Mr & Mrs RT Mackenzie, National Railway Museum & SSPL, and David Wylie. Thanks also to Chris Capewell for obtaining permission to publish from Greg and David, and in particular to Neil Cameron for providing links to the majority of the new photos following his intensive search through Geograph and other web-based photo-media.

The newly-uploaded photos will be found within in the following albums:
Ransomes & Rapier: 95201 and 95208
Cowans Sheldon: 95202, 95204 and 96701
Craven Bros: 95206

There are also new photos in the albums 'Some Accident Scenes Facing the Breakdown Gangs' and 'Miscellaneous Breakdown Crane Images'. The former album has been moved to the opening page of the Gallery, and the latter is a new creation that's also located on the opening page.

Viewing the latest images
The last 20 photos uploaded to the Gallery can be viewed by clicking on 'Latest Photos..." on the opening page. All 35 new photos can be homed in on by means of the Gallery's search function, for example by entering the relevant contributor's name from the list of acknowledgements given above.
